The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 is a wide, anatomically curved strap in combination with a soft, thermoformed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 is adjustable from either side to perfectly center the EVA pad over a high or low instep. The system of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is interchangeable. SIDI‘s TECHNO-3 SYSTEM ensures an optimal fit over the entire length of the shoe and adapts the upper material to the shape of the foot – for an individual fit. The famously reliable and replaceable SIDI closures of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 are enhanced by a new proprietary SIDI Wire material that is completely non-binding and allows for intuitive and effortless adjustment during the run. Like most SIDI small parts also of the Sidi MTB Trace 2, the TECNO-3 SYSTEM is maintainable and replaceable. The SIDI HEEL CUP of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 is a reinforced shell that stabilizes and supports the heel. The anatomically shaped plastic of the Sidi MTB Trace 2 reduces slippage of the heel and provides better power transmission. The Sidi MTB Trace 2 provides additional foot protection in the event of a fall.
